eLog is a logging platform for .NET. eLog supports traditional logging.

eLog is a flexible and free logging platform for .NET platform, including .NET standard. eLog makes it easy to write to several targets. (database, file)

The NuGet package is designed for external applications event logging, such as errors, information, warning, and some fatal exceptions.

For using the eLog logging NuGet package in an external application, need to be configurated in the app.config file. App.config should have been set up differently for different destinations.

The destination can be selected one of the values` Unknown, SqlDB, MongoDB, File.

Logging appliaction logs into the MongoDB.

• "eLog_dbConnection" - Connection string for MongoDB in this case, where destination is selected as "MongoDB".
• "eLog_destination" - Should be populated as 'MongoDB', it will log data into MongoDB database.
• "eLog_dbName" - Database name.
• "eLog_dbUserName" - The databse login UserName.
• "eLog_dbPassword" - The database login Password.

Logging appliaction logs into file in the FileSystem.

• "eLog_destination" - Should be populated as 'File', it will log data into FileSystem with predefined location.
• "eLog_fileDirectory" - The log files main directory.
• "eLog_fileFormat" - The file format. File format can be selected ` json, txt or xml.
• "eLog_fileNamePrefic" - The log file name prefix. The prefix will be used for define log file name. Example: /Some_defined_Prefix/_124587123454123.
