imbACE BasicPack v1.0 Visual Studio 2017 Extension
The first imbVeles VS2017 extension is published! The extension delivers multi-target C# (.NET 4.0, .NET 4.5 and .NET Standard) project templates, imbVeles (imbACE – Advanced Console Environment, imbSCI – Coding for Science) item templates and code snippets. Item templates cover: namespace XML documentation, imbACE Advanced Console and Plugin classes, imbSCI Global configuration and imbNLP Transliteration definition file. Project templates contain custom MSBuild target, that makes copy of NuGet .nupkg file to local NuGet repository, after each build.

New library in the family: imbSCI.BibTex
imbSCI.BibTex is a comprehensive BibTex format API, allowing you to:
- Load, combine, modify and save BibTex citation definitions
- Access BibTex entries via value pair dictionaries (auto-discovery of entry fields) or via strong typed class
- Extend basic BibTexEntryModel class to gain support less popular and/or special application BibTex tags
- Generate Excel spreadsheet and CSV data table export, with data from BibTex file(s)
- High-level, single-call citation report generation, using one or all BibTex files from a directory
- Encoding LaTeX symbols to UTF-8 equivalents, and vice versa
- Fast parsing, using multi-threading and compiled Regex queries
- Generation of BibTex format output

imbACE and imbSCI libraries migrated to .NET Standard 2.0
Since NuGet package numbers 0.2.* the imbACE application development stack moved toward cross-platform and mobile development. Therefore, new releases of the libraries have 3 targets
New NuGet packages include three target platforms:
- .NET Standard 2.0
- .NET Framework 4.5
- .NET Framework 4.0
The focus is too keep WindowsXP compatibility (.NET 4.0) and to stay fully cross-platform capable, via Xamarin.Forms 3.0. Xamarin recently introduced full cross-platform support, for both Desktop and mobile operational systems and platforms.
If you face issue of "Circular dependency detected" when installing these packages, follow instructions from the post: http://blog.veles.rs/imbsci-imbace-for-net-standard-net-4-5-and-net-4-0/
imbVeles Project - Coding for Science
imbVeles Framework is an open source project, organized in five units, with corresponding GitHub repositories. The credo is: “Coding for Science”, as its primary purpose is to help researchers in developing their, research specific, software tools. While the main focus of the framework follows my own research (knowledge extraction from the web content, applied for business intelligence in manufacturing systems and related fields), lower layers have more general value as they provide reporting, data annotation, aggregation and exchange tools.

Targets: .NET 4.0*, .NET 4.5 and .NET Core 2.0 i.e ready for use in cross-platform application development. * Purpose of the .NET 4.0 target is to provide compatibility with Windows XP, that is still popular on console PCs of older CNC machines and industrial controlers. It will be supported "forever", as it is part of the mission.
